Adam James

Adam is a queer writer and script editor from the West Midlands, now based in Manchester.

He is a recent graduate of Channel 4’s 4screenwriting course and was also selected to develop a new play as writer on attachment with the award-winning, Manchester based theatre company Box Of Tricks. Previously, he's been part of Soho Theatre's Writer's Lab, been a panellist at London Comedy Film Festival and has had work performed in scratch nights across Manchester and London, including his short-play CUTE at Southwark Playhouse in 2019.

Adam is currently developing original drama and comedy television projects with Mam Tor Productions and Riff Raff Entertainment.

In TV development, Adam currently works in-house with Wall To Wall North, and previously held positions at SISTER, helping to establish their Northern production hub, Northern SISTER, in Manchester.
