Beya Kabelu is a BAFTA-nominated filmmaker known for his dynamic storytelling. His first short film, “The Detective and The Dog Thief,” produced for Netflix, offered a satirical take on Britain's 2020 pet theft epidemic through his company, Bellwether Pictures. Following this success, Beya wrote, produced, and directed on the Amazon series "Four Kings," which explores the lives and rivalries of renowned boxers Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn, and Chris Eubank. Additionally, he produced the BAFTA-nominated “How to Survive a Dictator” and the docudrama “Gary” for NBCUniversal’s Peacock.

Currently, Beya is in production on a film focused on the life of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and an Amsterdam-based true crime series for Sky. Prior to his filmmaking career, he was a journalist at the Sunday Times magazine and Sky News, where he became the youngest journalist to produce an exclusive story for the channel at the age of 21. Earlier in his career, he also served as an Olympics reporter for Sky Sports News during the Rio 2016 Games at just 19 years old.
