Caroline Steinbeis

Caroline is an award-winning director for stage and screen, who has previously been associate at Sheffield Theatres, on attachment at the National Theatre, and was previously the Royal Court’s International Associate, developing and directing plays from all over the world. Her debut short as writer-director, FROM A STRANGE LAND, stars Amanda Abbington, Matthew Needham and Deborah Findlay, produced by Georgina French, and which won Caroline the Best Director Award at Laugh or Die Festival, going on to screen at festivals worldwide. She then went on to direct STELLA, a short comedy-drama film for Pinzutu Films (ENJOY), written by Ally Mackie.
