Diana Ali

Los Angeles/London based Diana AIi is an emerging writer & director. In 2021, Diana wrote and directed A LIVING SCULPTURE which has been met with great acclaim on the festival circuit and is currently being distributed by Curzon. In early 2022, YOU LOOK SO HEALTHY, which charts a young woman’s struggle with an eating disorder and a difficult pregnancy, premiered on Nowness. As a writer, in development with LA indie Corporate Witchcraft, is Sundance Writers Lab finalist AU REVOUR MOGADISHU. In the TV space, Diana is currently developing comedy drama CRYING ON A ROCK ALONE with Brett Gelman (FLEABAG, STRANGER THINGS) and the neo-noir crime mystery GRANITE STATE with Tessa Thompson production company, Viva Maude. Diana comes from a background in fine art and performance, where she works in a variety of traditional and non-traditional media (performance, photo-text collage, video installation, sculpture).
