Eleanor is a writer from London. Her debut play BEFORE I WAS A BEAR premiered at The Bunker Theatre to critical acclaim, gaining her a nomination for Best Writer at The Stage Debut Awards in 2020 & returning for a sold out run at Soho Theatre in June 2022. She has been a member of Soho Theatre Writers Lab and has previously taken part in writing workshops run by the Almeida & HighTide. She was selected for BBC Voices in June 2024. Recently, Eleanor was commissioned by the Donmar Warehouse to adapt Macbeth for young audiences. Her adaptation, MACBETH: SOMETHING WICKED toured schools across Camden and Westminster from June-July 2024 and reached over 3500 young people. Eleanor’s play TENDER was a finalist for the Ambassador Theatre Group's playwriting prize in association with Platform Presents and premiered at the Bush Theatre in November 2024, published by Nick Hern Books & co-produced by Broccoli Arts & Jessie Anand Productions. Eleanor’s new play, WHAT IF ORPHEUS WAS FOUR SAD WOMEN, was shortlisted for the 2024 Verity Bargate Award.
