Bourgeois & Maurice, the cult musical duo formed of Liv Morris and George Heyworth, have created ten full-length theatre shows, and released six albums. Their work has graced stages from Soho Theatre to Sadler's Wells and the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, with international tours and collaborations with artists like Sink The Pink and David Hoyle.

In 2020, they premiered their epic sci-fi musical Insane Animals at HOME Manchester, followed by the Offie-nominated Pleasure Seekers (Soho Theatre, 2022), with its playtext published by Methuen in Writing Queer Performance (Jan 2025).

They've performed at prestigious venues like the Royal Opera House and Southbank Centre and been commissioned by BBC Radio 3, Birmingham Rep, and Shakespeare's Globe. Their VR music video Opinions received Raindance Film Festival recognition, and their web series Youthanaisa was nominated at the 2018 Stareable Awards.

During lockdown they created Curtain Twitchers, a podcast series featuring interviews with legendary queer performers including Justin Vivian Bond and Travis Alabanza.

Currently, they are writing music and lyrics for a new musical at The Abbey, National Theatre of Ireland, inspired by Oscar Wilde.
