Georgia is currently writing an episode of the horror leaning drama SQUIRREL for Sky and Kudos, and she has just received a pilot script commission from the BBC to adapt her own play YOU’S TWO for television. This year she wrote an episode of BUCCANEERS series 2 for Apple and The Forge, additionally she wrote on Paris Lee’s queer autobiographical series WHAT IT FEEL’S LIKE FOR A GIRL produced by Hera Pictures for the BBC, Georgia has written an episode plus co-written another with Paris. Last year saw her write an episode of GO AWAY for BBC1, created by Catherine Shepherd, produced by Various Artists Ltd and she joined Sally Wainwright’s writers room on RENEGADE NELL for Disney and Lookout Point, of which she wrote one episode. Additionally she completed the first series of Charlie Covell’s contemporary Greek Mythology drama KAOS for Netflix with Sister Pictures. Georgia is consulting producer on KAOS and episodic writer. The BBC also commissioned Georgia to write episode one of the factual drama LAUGHING BOY, produced by Expectation. In 2019 Georgia was selected for Channel 4/Blacklight’s 4Stories scheme with her original drama THROUGH THE GATES. Her programme received two Bafta nominations, Best Single Drama and Georgia herself was nominated for Best Newcomer. The brilliant piece stars BAFTA winner Wunmi Mosaku, Ria Zmitrovich and Craig Parkinson. Georgia began her career in theatre as a member of the Royal Court Young Writers’ Group. Her debut play, YOUS TWO was shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award and the Stage Debut Award for Best Play. It was produced by Hampstead Theatre to critical acclaim.
