Giancarlo Sanchez

Giancarlo Sánchez is a Colombian-Argentinian-Dutch writer/director based in Amsterdam. In 2018 he co-directed critically acclaimed Dutch series MOCRO MAFFIA. He followed this up with Netflix’s first Dutch Original, critically acclaimed YA horror series ARES. He has just completed Rotterdam based crime drama SANTOS, which he directed, showran and produced for public broadcaster BNNVAR and streamer NPO-Plus, and has just one a Golden Calf for best drama. Giancarlo will soon commence prep for his English language debut, a TV project for Eleven & Paramount+
