Haleema Mirza

Haleema Mirza is a screenwriter from East London specializing in drama, comedy, sci-fi, horror and thriller.

After graduating from the NFTS with an MA in Screenwriting, she was named a 2019 Broadcast Hot Shot and has gone on to develop original comedy genre series with New Pictures and Drama Republic. She is also developing her first feature for Searchlight Pictures.

Haleema served as story editor on Marvel’s SECRET INVASION for Disney+ and has written episodes for Dancing Ledge’s DOMINO DAY and Moonage’s THE GENTLEMEN, and has recently been in rooms for companies such as Bad Wolf, Working Title, New Pictures, Buddy Club and See-Saw.
