Jenny Bede

Jenny Bede is an award winning writer and comedian from London. Her most recent 5-star Edinburgh show was in the top 25 best reviewed comedy shows at the fringe. A recent winner of the prestigious BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Award, Jenny currently has multiple projects in development with various production companies and broadcasters.

She wrote her own pilot for BBC3 called Jenny Bede: AAA and wrote and presented Mad on Chelsea (E4) - the sister show to the BAFTA winning Made in Chelsea. Other writing credits include ‘Its Personal with Amy Hoggart’ for TruTV in the US and ‘Small Town Politics’ for Sky Arts in the UK.

As a stand-up, has been one Guardian’s “Ones to Watch” and was the winner of Best Newcomer at the Musical Comedy Awards. She has also appeared in numerous TV shows on BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky and Netflix.
