Lydia Yeoman

Lydia is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Asia, where she earned an MFA in Dramatic Writing. Her writing has been shortlisted for industry initiatives such as the BAFTA Rocliffe Award, and the Sundance Episodic Story Lab. Her spec TV pilot, CONFINEMENT (exploring the dark and disturbing world of inmate pregnancy inside a women’s prison), was one of ten chosen for the Thousand Films’ initiative (run by Sid Gentle and the NFTS) to uncover up and coming female writers in 2019. The script was selected for The Britlist in 2021. Lydia is developing two original projects with Mammoth, and an adaptation with Vertigo. She took part in the Channel 4 Screenwriting Course last year, on which she developed THE HAZE, a coruscating, darkly funny look at motherhood and body autonomy.
