Richard Gadd

Richard Gadd is a multi-award-winning Scottish screenwriter, playwright, and performer.

Richard is the creator, writer, star and executive producer of the global hit Netflix series BABY REINDEER. The series was produced by Clerkenwell Films and adapted from his Olivier Award winning one-man show BABY REINDEER, produced by Francesca Moody, which sold out its runs at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe and the Bush Theatre in London. Richard's next original drama series, LIONS, is currently in pre-production and will be produced by Mam Tor for the BBC.

His previously produced TV credits including an episode of SEX EDUCATION, produced by Eleven Film for Netflix, and his other theatre work includes his stand-up show MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO, which tackles male sexual assault and won the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2016 before going on to have several sell-out runs at The Soho Theatre as well as touring the UK and internationally.
