Zia designs lighting and sets for theatre, dance, opera and live music events. She works internationally with a base in both London and Dublin. She won the 2017 Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Lighting Design for her design of Pan Pan Theatre Company’s 2016 production of ‘The Importance of Nothing’, which was revived for a tour in 2018.
